Peaux Sensibles Soin Apaisant

Sisley Research has drawn on the latest scientific advances to offer an effective solution to the three physiological causes of sensitive skin so it can finally be free from daily discomfort.

Sensitive skin reacts to normally inoffensive stimuli, such as chemical, physical, emotional or lifestyle-related factors. These reactions are due to hyperreactive skin nerve fibres, which cause feelings of discomfort (prickling, tightness, itching, hot sensations), followed by a cascade of reactions in the skin. This causes redness in particular and weakens the skin barrier.

Sensitive skin may also lack lipids, which are key to nourishing and preventing skin dehydration, which further compromises its protective barrier.

• Soothing Care for Sensitive Skin provides immediate comfort, reducing redness and promoting soft, supple and hydrated skin.
• After two weeks, skin is stronger and more resilient. Its tolerance threshold is raised.
• After four weeks, skin has lasting comfort. It is more radiant, more beautiful and looks younger.

A wider choice of Sisley products can then be applied, while keeping the Soothing Care for Sensitive Skin as a first step in all routines.

To meet the very specific requirements of sensitive skin, Soothing Care has a very high-tolerance, minimalist formula made from 100% natural-origin key ingredients:

• Golden Kelp extract limits skin hyperreactivity and redness.
• Rhamnose Polysaccharide also reduces skin reactivity.
• Japanese Lily of the Valley extract boosts skin’s resilience (tested in vitro and in vivo).
• Shea butter, Rapeseed oil and Plum kernel oil provide skin with comfort and nutrition.

Natural fragrance, provided exclusively by the active ingredients.

The formula is sterilised and free from preservatives. It is protected by ultra-airtight packaging. The texture is very soft and addictive: it leaves an extremely comforting film on the skin.
