Tears

A warmth rising from the earth. Tears is a musky-floral exploration signed by Paul Guerlin, born from the encounter between sage, narcissus, and vetiver: a dry, solar accord evoking heated hay and the red clay of cotton fields. In the top notes, galbanum and ambrettolide set a green, musky facet, before clary sage, iris, and a solar rose soften the composition. In the base notes, concentrated vetiver, hay absolute, cypriol oil, and musk establish a dense, warm, and enveloping trail with remarkable longevity.

The result of a collaboration between Denim Tears and the olfactory universe, Tears translates designer Tremaine Emory’s work on the African diaspora into perfume: an olfactory narrative as much as a fashion piece.
