Acqua di Parma
It happened in 1916, in Parma, an Italian town well Known for its art, for the Italian opera by Verdi and for a masterpiece by Stendhal.
Here, in a little lab, a team of master perfumers created, “ Colonia Acqua di Parma”, cooling notes, sheer and light, so different from the strong pervading perfumes of that period.
It was immediately successful and, between the 30s and 40s, it became a trend fragrance.
In the 60s perfumes started changing and since then there have been a lot of suggestions but “ Acqua di Parma” has been a patrimony and people, who love perfumes, think it is an evergreen.
